The Austin-based string quartet was originally founded in 1995 by four students who met while studying at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio. The musicians serve as the quartet in residence at the University of Texas where they all are members of the Butler School of Music faculty. They have performed live alongside some of the world’s best musicians and conductors the likes of Pinchas Zukerman, Joshua Bell and award-winning violinist Midori.
