Houston's second album, 'Naked', peaked at number five on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and the title track hit number eight on the Singles Chart. His 2007 album 'Veteran' topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and reached number five on the Billboard 200.
Two years later 'Mr. Houston' went to number nine on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart and number 12 on the R&B/Hip-Hop. Subsequent releases included 'Mattress Music' (2010) and 'Famous' (2013). Throughout this time, Houston did production work for artists including B2K and Destiny's Child and worked steadily as an actor in TV shows such as 'A Different World', 'The Parent Hood', 'One On One' and 'Will to Love' plus feature films as 'House Party 4: Down to the Last Minute' (2001), 'You Got Served' (2004), 'Boogie Town' (2010), 'Battlefield America' (2012) and three editions of the 'Somebody Help Me' franchise.
