Eitzel grew up in a military family and lived in many interesting places throughout his child and adolescent life. Growing up, Eitzel lived in Okinawa, Taiwan, Ohio and the U.K. He began making music while he was a teenager living in beautiful, Southampton, England. He played in punk bands such as Cowboys and The Naked Skinnies before settling into a 12-year groove with American Music Club.
