She began playing the fiddle in elementary school, took up the guitar in high school, which became her main instrument other than her pleasing voice. She briefly attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston. After her college stint, she began performing around the Boston area. Glaspy plays and sings in the musical genres of indie-folk and folk-pop.
In 2010, before going out on her own, Glaspy became a member of a band called The Fundies, who released an EP in 2012 called The Fundies. She also worked with other artists such as Rachael Yamagata, Ricky Skaggs and Del McCoury, with Glaspy performing backup vocals. Her first solo recording was an EP titled Homeschool, released in 2012. Glaspy’s debut full-length album, Emotions and Math, was released in 2016, followed up by the 2020 album, Devotion.
