A precocious songwriter who began honing her skills as a child, she won the prestigious Granby Song Contest in 1989 with “La Veilleuse”. She toured both Europe and Canada throughout the decade. 1999’s Live became her first album to go top 5 in France, and the 2000 follow-up, Do coq à l’ame, went to number 1, as did Les lettres rouges later that year. She remained a star on both sides of the Atlantic scoring top 5 albums in both Canada and France with 2003’s Les secrets des oiseaux, 2006’s Ma Signaturei, 2008’s Blessée, 2013’s Feutres et pastels, and 2016’s Décibels et des silences.
