In 2002, Los Amigos Invisibles released The Venezuelan Zinga Son, Vol. 1 in Japan and the UK. The album was released in the US in 2004 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Latin Album.
In 2009, Los Amigos Invisibles released their sixth studio album, Commercial, debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Venezuela music charts. That same year, Commercial won the Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album. Additionally, the track "Vivire Para Ti," was the Single of the Week in the iTunes music store in November of 2009.
