This led him to begin producing his own music at the age of nine in the studio. He began DJing worldwide by the time he was 13. He returned to the studio at age 15, citing that he was wrapped up in the life of DJing but he wanted to get back to the producing part of it since the music was getting more technical. He began producing under the name of Eskimo and released his first album Can You Pick Me Up at the age of 17.
His music began showing up in the sets of psytrance DJs across the globe. By the time he performed his first live set, his repertoire had trebled. He released his second album in the summer of 2004, called “Take A Look Out There.” Since then, Ford has begun producing bass-heavy house music under the name Joyryde.
