John Nemeth Concert Tickets
Settle into the smooth sounds and groovy beats with John Nemeth tickets. Singer-songwriter John Nemeth from Boise, Idaho has become one of America's leading exponents of the blues harmonica, a skill crafted by playing over two thousand gigs during a decade of touring with his band Fat John and the 3 Slims which he formed as a teenager with his friend Tom Moore. In 2002, whilst playing as a sideman to Canned Heat guitarist Junior Watson, Nemeth formed a new band called The Jacks and released the self published album 'The Jack of Harps'.
Although well-received, the album sold in limited numbers and Nemeth decided to relocate to the west coast to play with respected blues artist Anson Funderburgh, temporarily replacing harmonica legend Sam Myers in Funderburgh's band. The experience proved valuable for Nemeth and his third solo album 'Love Me Tonight', released on Blind Pig Records, went to number six in Billboard's Blues Charts.
The follow-up album 'Name the Day!' also went to number six demonstrating Nemeth was now a recognised member of the blues establishment. The success of the solo albums brought in numerous nominations for music awards culminating with a Blues Music Award in 2014 for Soul Blues Male Artist of the Year.
