The band signed with Epic/Sony Records after selling out Planet Nova, TT Reynolds and Fat Tuesday’s, all three staples of live music in Fairfax, Virginia. Emmet Swimming toured for seven years, each year performing 200-300 shows. They were included on the H.O.R.D.E tour and have supported the Dave Matthews Band, Barenaked Ladies and Galaxy Girl, from Charlotte North Carolina. The group has been nominated for multiple Washington Area music awards.
