In 2007 Emancipator caught the attention of Hydeout Productions, a Japanese record label headed by Nujabes who signed him to re-release his debut effort. After moving to Portland, OR where he is currently based, he hit the stage for the first time opening for one of his favorite producers Bonobo. After making his stage debut, he embarked on a Japanese tour in 2008-2009 and further widened his fanbase and tightened his live show. The DJ has released a number of albums including 2020’s Mountain of Memory which featured popular singles “Labyrinth” and “Iron Ox”.
