As a teenager, Elliot Maginot learned how to play guitar and gradually perfected his skills. He developed an ear for melody as well as the ability to work on both choruses or verses--he soon had many songs ready to go with just some vocals over them. After hearing these demo recordings through family connections, Montreal native singer/songwriter, Maginot, got down into writing original material, which he calls folk groove, using software to superimpose layers of vocals before posting them MySpace in 2013, and soon went on the bar circuit around town.
