In 2018, they embarked on the help of Jonny Seegmiller, Russ Allphin and Kevin Castaneda, who became an integral part of the group. Their music is a blend of pop and folk reminiscent of the 1960s with a modern-day feel.
Dad Bod released their first album, After Thought, in 2019. They released their sophomore album, Pastel, two years later to critical acclaim and released such hits as “The Drifter” and “Tenderness.” This album puts on display a range of emotions such as grief, nostalgia and finally triumph while keeping the same groove and musicality their fans are used to. The band has shared the stage with such acts as Phoebe Bridgers, Grouplove and Mac DeMarco.
