A year after the band came together, they released their first effort in a debut EP, The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer. In 2013, after the release of their first EP, Crobot signed with Wind-up Records. Their first label-supported release was a self-titled EP, which dropped to positive reviews from music critics and fans alike. The first single from the EP, "Nowhere to Hide," reached number sixteen on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart.
Crobot tickets rose in demand after their successful release and a string of tour dates supporting groups like Chevelle and KYNG. With music compared to groups like Wolfmother and Queens of the Stone Age, the group quickly found their devoted fanbase. The group saw even more success in 2019 with the release of their third studio album Motherbrain. Motherbrain was produced by Corey Lowery of Seether and debuted to very positive reviews. The single "Low Life" from the album quickly became one of the group's all-time most popular songs. Throughout their three studio albums and a healthy history of performing across the nation, Crobot has undoubtedly planted the seeds for their continued success in the hard rock arena.
