Chopin's Piano Concerto Concert Tickets

Enjoy timeless classical music played by a master performer with Chopin Piano Concerto tickets. Frederic Chopin composed piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor in 1829, when he was 20 years old. Chopin finished the piece before he was out of school. He first performed the piece in 1830 in Warsaw, Poland. Now, you can hear it again, played by Argentinian pianist Ingrid Fliter.

Fliter was born in September 1973 in Buenos Aires. She gave her first recital at age 11 and performed her first concerto at the Teatro Colon at 16. In 1992, she moved to Europe and studied with Russian classical pianist Vitaly Margulis at the Hochschule fur Musik, Freiberg in Germany, before moving on to study in Rome with Carl Bruno, among others.

Experience the moving eternal themes of a masterwork performed by an artist with Chopin Piano Concerto tickets. Fliter won first prize at the Cantu International Competition and took fourth place at the 2000 Ferruccio Busoni Competition in Italy. She received the Gilmore Artist Award in 2006, becoming the first woman to do so.

Fliter debuted in the United States in January 2002, appearing as the featured soloist on tour with the Warsaw Philharmonic and Kazimierz Kord. Her concerto debut in the United States was with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in 2006.

Fliter is now performing Chopin’s Concerto No. 2, which was the first concerto written by Chopin but called No. 2 because it was published first.
