Blastoyz’s career was put on hold between 2009 and 2012 when he served in the Israeli Defense Force. Although serving in the military provided him little free time to make music, he didn’t give up on his dreams and managed to release his debut EP, Something For Your Mind, in 2012. The trance artist soon gained widespread recognition after the release of his second EP, Bastard (2013). The EP was such a success that it ended up ranking as No. 12 on the top 100 Psytrance releases.
