A couple of years after formation, the duo finally ended up dropping their first demo, Jesus Spawn (1991). Once the group gained traction, they were signed to Necropolis Records. Archgoat released a demo and one EP under the new label but unfortunately was withheld from releasing any further music under the new contract and was forced to take a long hiatus.
Nearly a decade later, they reformed in 2004 and released their debut album, Whore of Bethlehem (2006). Following their album release, Archgoat toured heavily throughout Europe for several years. Since their formation, they have released over four studio albums, four EPs, two demos, and two live albums. Now, the band is perhaps one of the most influential Satanic bands in Finland.
