She left the position in 2015 to pursue her career as a successful chamber musician.
Additionally, Amanda Forsyth has collaborated with artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Garrick Ohlsson, Michael Tree and Louis Lortie. She has toured as the cellist of the Zukerman Chamber Players since 2003 and collaborated with Wynton Marsalis where she recorded the soundtrack for Ken Burn’s World War II.
