Enter the rock zone with Abbath tickets. The Norwegian black metal band was founded in 2015 by musician Abbath Doom Occulta of Immortal fame. Following his departure from Immortal, the artist rallied a handful of players, which at the time included King ov Hell from God Seed, and released an eponymous debut album in 2016. They began playing at events such as the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival in Finland and prepared for the release of their second record, Outstrider, in 2019. By this time, King ov Hell had exited the group, but they moved on with much success. According to Loudwire, their sophomore offering was one of the 50 best albums of the year.
In addition to its founder, touring members of the crew have included Ole André Farstad (lead guitar), Andreas Fosse Salbu (bass) and Ukri Suvilehto (drums). Together, they released tracks like “Calm In Ire (Of Hurricane),” ‘The Artifex” and more. They have recorded with the independent label Season of Mist and charted in multiple countries, including Belgium and France. It featured the single “Dream Cull” and was called a nine-track masterpiece” by Metal Injection. In 2024, the act announced their Return to the Raven Realms Tour and continued to frequent venues worldwide.
