Originally a passion project of Alexis Mincolla (vocals) and Xavier Swafford the 3TEETH original lineup also included Chase Brawner (guitars), Nick Rossi (drums) and Andrew Means (modular synth, bass).
The name 3TEETH is taken from the ancient art of odontomancy where the future was read using teeth. The name also has references to the trident or thunderbolt which effectively matches the striking nature of their music. Never afraid to push the limits of what's sonically legal 3TEETH mix together many genres of industrial metal and electronic rock. The total combination means that 3TEETH tickets give you access to an insanely high energy atmosphere.
With their first self-titled release in 2014 making the 8th spot on the iTunes Electronic Music Chart. Their subsequent release <shutdown.exe> and follow up Metawar were even more well-received. Metawar was released in July of 2019 and reached the number one spot on the iTunes Metal Charts. Making use of a diverse combination of samples melody and sequenced beats each 3TEETH song has a distinct sound rarely found in the metal genre. Drawing comparisons to groups like Tool and artists like Marilyn Manson 3TEETH seem to improve with every release.
