They have been lifelong friends hailing from the deep north. Christian Wilder (piano), Adam Reed (upright bass), Graham Young (guitar) and Tony Audia (drums) began collaborating as a quartet while attending high school in Northern Michigan.
They went out to every bar, cafe, and stage in town, developing a musical chemistry informed by the likes of AC/DC, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bob Seger, and other similar bands of that genre.
Reed and Young reunited in Los Angeles after a some years apart, recorded a little demo and started playing live at local venues. The demo was discovered by then producer Johnny K who has assembled supergroups like Plain White T's and 3 Doors Down.
They recorded the vast majority of their debut EP at NRG Studios in one day. The band's self-titled debut EP received rave reviews from No Depression, Bluegrass Situation, B3 Science, and Rolling Stone, who dubbed the group one of their "Ten New Country Artists You Need To Know" in 2016.
