The two previously performed as a duo called Duelo Norteno but were joined by drummer Juan Barrera, bassist Cristian Rivera and percussionist Edgar Rodriguez to form the larger group they are today.
The band made a big splash in the scene with their debut album, El Amor No Acaba, in 2002 which featured their hit single “Amiga Soledad” as well as other early fan favorites like “¿Que Hubiera Sido De Mi Vida?”. They quickly became a hit in the Mexican music scene with their organic nortena sound and earned their way to the top with the biggest acts. Their 2009 album, Necesito Mas de Ti, became the group's first #1 album, topping both the Billboard US Latin and US Regional Mexican charts. They continued growing their massive fanbase with releases like 2011’s Vuela Muy Alto and 2013’s popular Libre por Naturaleza. With the addition of 2020’s Eres Vida, the band has amassed hundreds of millions of streams across platforms and shows no signs of slowing.
