She dropped her debut EP, Palimpsest, in 2012 and followed up with the standalone singles “Avondale” (2013), “Stephen” (2014), and “Montreal” (2014). Decided to focus on her songwriting, Day Wilson dropped out of college and spent six months in Montreal and then relocated to Toronto, where she got an intern position at the Arts & Crafts label.
Her second EP, CDW, saw the light in 2016 and featured the single “Work,” which earned her a nomination for the SOCAN Songwriting Prize and was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize in 2017. Following an appearance on Daniel Caesar’s “Transform” (2017), she issued a third EP titled Stone Woman (2018) and released the singles “Doubt” and “Nothing New.” Subsequently, Day Wilson returned with the singles “Mountain” (2019) and “Take Care of You” (2020), featuring The Internet’s Syd Tha Kyd.
