Released shortly after the birth of their son, Hideaway (2008) entered the Billboard Top 200 at Number 31, aided by a series of features in TV series and commercial ads. The fourth album Be My Thrill (2010) marked The Weepies’ return to the stages with several sold-out shows throughout the US and peaked at Number 3 on Billboard’s Top Folk Albums for nine consecutive weeks. After Talan’s recovery from breast cancer treatment, the band headed into the studio to record Sirens (2015), which featured a star-studded lineup of musicians such as guitarist Gerry Leonard, bassist Tony Levin, and drummer Matt Chamberlain.
