The band’s biggest hit came with the release of their third album, Extra Mile. “Next to You, Next to Me” became the number one single for three weeks and led the band to win the Academy of Country Music’s Vocal Group of the Year award. In 1995, the group released their hit song “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart” with singer Alison Krauss, which won both artists a Grammy award.
