Super Bowl LIX is set with the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans, La. The game will be played on Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome, home of the New Orleans Saints. It is a rematch of the 2023 championship, which the Chiefs won 38-35.
The least expensive ticket is listed at $5,049 for for a seat in the 600 level. For the 100 level, you can expect to pay more than $7,000 in the end zones and at least $12,000 near midfield to see the big game. The average price to attend the game is more than $11,000. If those numbers hold, this will be the second-most expensive game ever, narrowly trailing the 2024 Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev.
Buying Super Bowl Tickets
Super Bowl tickets are some of the most coveted in all of sports because they are so difficult to find. The NFL splits tickets between the two teams playing in the game, the host team, the host team’s city and its own front office meaning there are virtually no tickets available on the primary market. This leaves fans searching for secondary tickets on sites like TicketSmarter once their team advances to the big game.
Caesars Superdome
Built in 1975, Caesars Superdome will host its eighth Super Bowl this February. It also hosts the annual Sugar Bowl, which is one of the College Football Playoff games. Caesars Superdome holds a capacity crowd of 74,295 for football games and up to 83,000 for concerts.
Halftime Show
Rapper Kendrick Lamar is set to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Lamar, a 17-time Grammy Award winner, dominated the U.S. charts in 2024 with three No. 1 singles. “Not Like Us” was certified three times Platinum by ARIA.
