First Responder Bowl tickets go on sale in September after the NCAA college football season for Football Bowl Subdivision teams has begun. More tickets will become available in early December when the teams are selected for the bowl game. The First Responder Bowl is played at Gerald J. Ford Stadium on the SMU campus. The stadium first opened in 2000 as the home of the Southern Methodist University Mustangs football team and became the home of the First Responder Bowl in 2019. The total seating capacity of the venue is 32,000. The First Responder Bowl seating chart features a horseshoe shape with the option to add an additional grandstand in the south end zone, which will increase capacity to 45,000 including standing room.
The horseshoe has a lower 100 level and an upper 200 level with an additional 300 level for Stadium Club seating located on the west sideline. Sections 123 through 125, 103 through 105 and corresponding upper-level sections are the most sought after seats as they are located behind the team benches towards the center of the field. Sidelines seats are reserved, while end zone seats from sections 110 through 118 and 210 through 218 are all general admission.
