Bad Company Concert Tickets

Secure Bad Company tickets today with TicketSmarter! Bad Company was started in 1973 by singer-songwriter Paul Rogers when he left his former band Free. The band quickly formed, picking up Mott’s Mick Ralphs, King Crimson’s Boz Burrell and Simon Kirke. Rogers named the band Bad Company and fought for the name despite heavy disapproval from the record label.

In 1974 they released their first album entitled Bad Company which went platinum five times and was an instant success. They had the chance to record their debut in the famous Headley Grange mobile studio used by Led Zeppelin and they recorded the album in one sitting. Their self-titled song that debuted on the album was recorded in the middle of a field under a full moon. They actually recorded their second album following their first tour, which resulted in a gold album, at Clearwell Castle in Gloucestershire, England.

Many of the albums following the success of their first went on to become triple and double platinum albums almost instantaneously. Grab Bad Company tickets with TicketSmarter.

With each release of a new album the band found themselves near the top of the charts, often in the top ten and even in the top three in both Europe and the United States. Unlike most rock bands, Bad Company’s sound is very much stripped down for a hard rock band, resulting in a unique sound that created a big impression in the history of Rock n' Roll. In 1982 the band stopped making music following Rodgers’ need to leave the band. He later pursued a solo career and went on to win a Grammy. The band resurfaced in 1986 when Ralphs and Kirke decided to continue to use the band name. They went on to produce four more albums and eventually a reunion anthology with Rodgers.
