With an AstroTurf field, it was renamed in 2019 Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
The stadium is composed of chairback seats, berm seating as well as standing room, and has four luxury private suites, an electronic scoreboard and a video board. Liberty Baseball Stadium was host to the Big South Tournament in 2013, and as the fifth seed, the Liberty Flames went on to win the tournament. Liberty University’s athletic program is comprised of eight men’s teams including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis and track & field. There are 10 women’s teams including basketball, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field and volleyball.
