The light, floaty feel to his music attracted the attention of Cosmontro Records, which released his early tracks City Lights and Swaying in 2014; he went on to tour with Seattle chillwave duo Odesza and play at festivals across Europe and North America while on his school holidays. Taking the name Petit Biscuit because of its humble, understated sound, Benjelloun was still only 16 when he posted his breakthrough track, Sunset Lover, onto SoundCloud, which went on to receive over 12 million listens and become an underground club favorite.
