Enjoy a Christian Latin rock group with Grupo Barak tickets. The Spanish-speaking contemporary Christian music group Grupo Barak, also known as Barak, hails from Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. The ancient Hebrew word Barak means “Prostrated in adoration.”
The group was founded by pianist Angelo Frilop, who also is a producer along with Katiuska Avelino. Other members of the group include lead vocalist Robert Green, bassist Janiel Ponciano, guitarist Josue Capel and drummer David Nolasco. The band released their 16-track debut album, Mi Gran Amor, on Frilop’s record label, in 2009. Their follow-up album to that was Logica De Otra Mundo, released in 2011.

In 2016, the group released Generacion Radical, which earned its first nomination in 2017 for a Latin Grammy. The band released a live album in 2019, entitled Shekinah (Live). They released another studio album entitled Fuego Y Poder in 2022.
The group has collaborated with numerous other Christian artists, including the Colombian band Generacion 12, Espiritu y En Verdad, Emmanuel Y Linda and others. The band has been nominated for numerous other awards as well as won multiple awards, such as winning the Premios El Galardon Award for Best Album in 2017 for Generacion Radical.
