In 1990 he founded the Europa Galante orchestra, with whom he rose to international fame through the ensemble’s recordings of Vivaldi, Handel, Tartini and others. Beginning in the late 2000s, Biondi also began serving as the artistic director of the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra in Norway. The violinist and conductor also frequently performs in duos alongside a piano or harpsichord.
