'We Shall All Be Healed', 'The Sunset Tree' and 'Heretic Pride' were all noted as significant releases, and Darnielle focused his melancholic, charming, empathetic style on his childhood obsession with professional wrestling on concept album 'Beat the Champ' in 2015. In 2017 they took on another challenge with the 'Goths' album, partly inspired by bands like The Cure, Joy Division and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
