From 2009 until then Sol stayed busy crafting his debut album The Ride along with three EPs entitled Dear Friends Vol. 1, Vol. II and Vol. III. With his first releases performing well Sol took a trip around the world following his graduation due to him winning a Bonderman Fellowship. In 2012 with a fresh view Sol returned with the album Your Truly which boosted him immeasurably as it reached the number one spot on the US iTunes Hip-Hop Album chart with a number four ranking worldwide.
